Why are you participating for Based India?

We are participating in Based India because we see the massive potential of Web3 communities in India. Many community founders are struggling to keep their communities active while finding ways to generate sustainable revenue. By building YOUNITY on Base, we provide a platform where founders can monetize their Telegram communities through verified announcements, ensuring long-term engagement without sacrificing quality.

What challenges are you focusing on?

Community founders struggle to earn revenue consistently while keeping engagement high. Events and promotions often bring short-term gains, but leave communities without long-term benefits. Founders need more control over the quality of announcements to avoid spam and irrelevant content

How does your submission address this challenge?

YOUNITY enables community founders to earn from sharing verified announcements through Base’s secure, transparent infrastructure. With a clear, predictable revenue model (80% to the founder, 20% to YOUNITY), founders can generate sustainable income.

Announcements are vetted through a process we call "Community Nodes," ensuring only relevant, high-quality content reaches communities. For developers, YOUNITY allows custom tools and integrations to be built on the platform, enhancing its utility.

Challenges we ran into

Writting a python bot was a new experince for us so we thought to build in JAVA Script, and due to that we faced multiple compatibility issues, some functions and options that worj out of the box in python was not working in java script, but with the help if mentors we finally did it.

Building a Telegram bot that integrates with Base Chain for payments and announcements required fine-tuning. Integrating WalletConnect for seamless payment handling presented initial challenges with transaction flows and ensuring smooth user experience.

The Payment part thorugh wallet connect and as wallet connect shut its libraries, so due to that we had an issue,

Integrating payment was one of the hardest part.
