Challenges we ran into

While building the MemeCoin Battle web app, several challenges emerged across technical, blockchain, and user experience domains. Implementing real-time game mechanics where users vote in 1-minute rounds required precise state synchronization, minimal latency, and scalable vote tallying, which was particularly challenging with concurrent participants. Launching the winning meme as an onchain token on the Base chain introduced further complexity ensuring secure, seamless deployment, unique tickers, and integrated tokenomics without disrupting the user experience. The credit-based voting system added another layer of difficulty, as it had to prevent spam and manipulation while allowing flexible participation and post-launch chat rooms demanded consistent identity handling and smooth data sync across decentralized systems. On the blockchain side, managing liquidity for newly launched tokens and fairly distributing presale allocations to creators and players required well-designed, trustless mechanisms. Preventing pump-and-dump behavior was also critical, necessitating tokenomics that incentivized long-term holding and community engagement through daily tasks and active participation in post-launch chat rooms.
