I am participating in the Based India hackathon to build innovative blockchain solutions and explore new opportunities in the decentralized space. What challenges are you focusing on?

I am focusing on creating a Decentralized Local Transportation System using Base to enhance efficiency and transparency. This addresses challenges in my community related to unreliable public transportation and lack of trust in local transport services.

How does your submission address this challenge?

My project, a Decentralized Local Transportation System built on Base, aims to provide a transparent, trustless platform where users can book rides and track vehicles in real-time. By leveraging blockchain, it ensures secure payments, tamper-proof records, and eliminates intermediaries. This can improve trust, reduce fraud, and enhance transportation efficiency in local communities.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges I encountered was integrating real-time tracking with decentralized technology, which required optimizing the performance of smart contracts.
