About this project
The problem it solves
Lack of Transparency:
- Traditional supply chains often suffer from data silos and opaque processes.
- TranspFlow uses blockchain’s immutable ledger to provide end-to-end transparency for all stakeholders.
Data Tampering & Lack of Trust:
- Centralized systems can be manipulated or compromised.
- Blockchain's decentralized architecture prevents data manipulation and builds trust among participants.
Complex Supplier Networks:
- Multi-tier suppliers and logistics providers complicate coordination and increase risk.
- TranspFlow unifies all participants on a single platform with shared, verified data.
Challenges we ran into
Smart Contract Complexity:
- Writing robust smart contracts that handle real-world conditions (delays, damages, partial shipments) was more complex than expected.
- Any bug in smart contracts could cause irreversible outcomes due to the immutable nature of blockchain. Scalability and Performance:
- Public blockchains can be slow and costly for high-frequency transactions.
- I had to explore layer-2 solutions or private blockchain options to ensure scalability without sacrificing trust.
