Why are you participating for Based India?

We are participating in Based India to support local developers and enhance open-source projects. As we belong to India, we want to do something meaningful for our fellow builders. My connection to the region is rooted in my commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration. I believe my project can make a positive impact on the community.

What challenges are you focusing on?

We are focusing on the challenge of limited funding for open-source projects in my community. Many talented developers struggle to bring their ideas to life due to financial constraints. With the help of Base, I aim to create a platform that connects these developers with potential sponsors, fostering collaboration and innovation while raising awareness about the resources available to support their work.

How does your submission address this challenge?

DevFund, helps solve the funding problem for open-source projects by connecting developers with sponsors. It allows developers to create campaigns where they can receive donations directly from people who want to support their work. This way, developers can turn their ideas into reality, and it encourages teamwork and support within the community, leading to more innovation and growth.

Challenges we ran into

NFT API Limitations: We faced issues with APIs not supporting the Base Sepolia chain for retrieving NFTs. Solution: We switched to using Alchemy SDK implementation, which provided the necessary support to achieve our goals.
