We are a trio of fervent innovators, blending our expertise in web3, development, and AI. Our motivation to dive into Based India’s Buildathon comes from an unyielding passion to leverage blockchain in a way that empowers both creators and learners within our community. What challenges are you focusing on?

We are laser-focused on two key pain points that plague today’s learners and creators:

1. Access to Affordable Learning & Skill Validation Education is a right, not a privilege. Yet, many learners today struggle to find affordable resources that not only teach them but provide concrete validation of their skills. Most online courses fall short in validating real-world, job-ready capabilities. Employers hesitate to trust certificates without robust backing, leaving learners stranded in a no-man’s-land of uncertain credentials.

2. Empowering Creators & Rewarding Learning Content creators pour their hearts and expertise into their work, yet they lack adequate ways to monetize and engage with their audience in a meaningful, rewarding way. With the current systems, creators are often underpaid and under-recognized, while learners don't get the full value they deserve. There’s a profound need for a system where creators are rewarded for the value they bring, and learners can prove their learning effectively.

How does your submission address this challenge?

Credibly is more than a platform; it’s a revolution in the way we learn and validate our skills. Our platform empowers YouTube creators to seamlessly transform their educational videos into structured, interactive courses. Through our dynamic AI-powered quizzes and validation methods, learners get an immersive, interactive learning experience. No more passive watching! We turn viewers into active learners. But the magic doesn’t stop there. Upon successful completion of a course, learners can mint a certificate as an NFT. This NFT isn’t just a digital badge; it’s a verifiable, immutable, onchain proof of their skills—tangible and shareable anywhere. These certificates live on the blockchain, forever securing the credibility of the learner’s achievements. For creators, it’s a goldmine. They can monetize their educational content like never before with revenue-sharing models, earning their fair share for the value they create. More than that, they can engage with their audience in an impactful way, turning viewers into learners and learners into lifelong advocates. Challenges we ran into

Building something groundbreaking is rarely smooth sailing! Here are a few hurdles we had to vault over:

1.Technical Challenges with Testnet Integration NFTs are the future, but oh, the testnets! We faced roadblocks when deploying NFTs on the OpenSea Testnet, which greeted us with server errors at every corner. Imagine working tirelessly on deploying smart contracts only to be met with endless loading screens. Talk about a patience test! Additionally, testing wallet interactions on wallet.coinbase.com was a trial, as the site just refused to cooperate, seemingly stuck in a never-ending loop. We persevered, though, by simulating transactions elsewhere and refining our deployment process. Who knew a little tenacity could outwit tech gremlins?

2.Balancing Onchain with AI & Web3 Combining the futuristic beauty of AI-based quiz generation with the rigid structure of onchain validation felt like taming a wild horse. Both powerful in their own right, but getting them to play nice was tricky. We resolved this by meticulous testing and refining our API workflows until we had a finely tuned machine capable of supporting our complex vision.

3.User Experience vs. Security Ah, the age-old dance between UX and security! We knew from the get-go that users needed a seamless, smooth experience, but we refused to cut corners on security. We had to balance lightning-fast authentication with bulletproof security protocols—a process that took multiple iterations but ultimately gave us a platform we can be proud of, one that’s safe and easy to use.

Additional Features

Despite the challenges, we didn’t just stop at the basics! We expanded Credibly with some killer new features:

1. Google Authentication Integration With G-Auth, creators no longer need to juggle multiple platforms. They can easily log in and select videos from their YouTube channel to turn into structured courses with a few clicks. It’s as easy as uploading a new video!
2. Dynamic Course Validation We supercharged our AI quiz system. Now, no learner gets the same set of questions twice. This not only keeps things fair but also ensures that learners are continuously challenged, making the learning journey both fun and rigorous.
3. Onchain NFT Minting Perhaps our proudest feature! After completing a course, learners can mint an NFT certificate, forever etched on the blockchain. This certificate becomes a shareable proof of skills, verifiable by anyone, anywhere, at any time. Learning has never been this rewarding.
