Why are you participating for Based India?

Just another curious head, who tries to stay updated with technologies and world by building small digital value adds via side projects. I participated in based India, because I am from India, and have been tinkering around blockchain as a technology for quite a while now. I never thought of an idea specifically in Indian context, as it always reminds me of the west or the digital world more than the real. Meanwhile, I am also liking the concept of Finternet, a tokenized internet and open protocols rising in India like ONDC. By participating in Based India, I aim to contribute to our local community by providing an innovative solution that harnesses blockchain technology to enhance collaboration. My deep understanding of the regional market dynamics and the needs of local businesses motivates me to create a platform that can drive efficiency, build trust, and foster stronger partnerships within the Indian supply chain ecosystem.

What challenges are you focusing on?

I want to create a sense of collaboration between existing D2c brands, and revive the economy for smaller players or new entrants, as compared to larger to have a larger set of products and a larger set of consumer already available. There are disparate communication channels, leading to misunderstandings. The non collaborative growth approach also create data silos and repetitive expenses on data collection which increases inefficiencies. Absence of transparent record keeping causes dispute and erodes trust.

How does your submission address this challenge?

I Address these challenges by an onchain collaborative planning platform built on Base blockchain. It should enable following features:

1. Onchain event coordination: Using smart contracts to set to collaboration based on cross promotions, product launches, and other events and scheduling them automatically.
2. Secure data sharing: Define the basis of collaboration, through immutable smart contracts and enforce data sharing agreements.
3. Immutable record keeping: Storing crucial information on blockchain for transparency and auditablity by all relevant parties.
4. Incentivizing participation
5. Simplifying user experience instead of standard web3 ux with long names and different processes. By leveraging true nature of blockchain, CollabChain fosters trust and accountability among partners and improves communication, increases efficiency, strengthens relationships, also makes market more competitive and easy to adopt to.

Challenges we ran into

integrating a new technology into any existing system has its own challenges, but along with that blockchain also comes with unfriendly user experiences, complex wallet addresses and transactions, etc. We overcame it by making it resembling to existing tools in the industry, using basenames integrations and using smart wallet to simplify the heacy processes required for it to function. It also has another economic downside of gas fees, which we are focusing on but for now we have tried to optimize our code as much possible to minimize transaction costs, and rigorously testing contracts to prevent vulnerabilities.
