About this project
The problem it solves
Before the project, people had to scroll Instagram and other pretty vapid social media when they're bored, instead of looking at excellent hand-drawn AI enhanced art and reading a moving novel. They, in fact, did this without earning real money through their decisions in conversation with an AI, by making decisions and saves have value, and never felt the pride of showing off your own decisions in a futuristic dystopian South Korean setting with giant monsters fighting mechs. We're finally, finally solving this problem. We have an international product for a global market. The story is an all original, tightly paced story of the next Green Ranger, stepping up to mantle to protect Humanity, along side other rangers(who die a lot). We have many more story elements and art planned.


Challenges we ran into
While we had the idea in early May, we only really started full swing development on the 8th. We used a ton of technologies to bring our stories to life, and to ensure players have a valuable experience, to their hearts and minds. We wrote a pretty complicated story, though its only the first quarter.
We're a somewhat remote team, so coordinating across crypto, frontend, backend and game data was quite complicated, with many simultaneous pushes and late-night arguments about the current version.
Still, we've made a truly unique and coherent videogame, that invites people into a world familiar but brutal, with choice depth only matched by a human storyteller.
