Why are you participating for Based India?

BasedPay is deeply relevant to India's digital payment landscape, particularly the widespread adoption of UPI with its 350 million active users. Our motivation stems from recognizing India as a price-sensitive market where users constantly seek ways to save on daily transactions. By leveraging this opportunity and familiarity with online payment systems, we aim to onboard the next billion active Web3 users. Our platform addresses key challenges in user engagement, awareness, and on-chain activity, making blockchain usage more accessible and vibrant in the region

What challenges are you focusing on?

BasedPay focuses on three main challenges:

1. User engagement: Encouraging active participation in the Web3 ecosystem.
2. Awareness: Introducing blockchain technology to users unfamiliar with it.
3. On-chain activity: Increasing meaningful interactions within blockchain networks.

We address these by offering instant rewards for daily purchases in exchange for completing promotional tasks, seamlessly onboarding users through Base smart wallets, and simplifying interactions using Basename
