The problem it solves

AI is powerful. Blockchain is revolutionary. But using them together is hard — and usually only for developers.

No-code tools exist, but they rarely connect to blockchain in meaningful ways. Agentic workflows are emerging, yet still trapped behind technical complexity.

People with great ideas — creators, founders, tinkerers — are blocked by:

Based Buildr solves this by making it possible for anyone to create, automate, and deploy intelligent, blockchain-powered workflows — no code, no gatekeeping.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Integrating Agentic Logic into n8n n8n wasn’t built for AI agents. Adapting it to support reasoning, context-aware actions, and autonomous workflows meant pushing the boundaries of what its node-based system was designed to handle.

  2. Blockchain Actions in No-Code On-chain interactions like token creation or swaps aren't typical in no-code tools. Building secure, abstracted nodes that expose this power — without overwhelming users — was a major design and engineering challenge.

  3. Deployment Headaches Deploying n8n with custom nodes and keeping it stable across environments was tougher than expected. I had to dig deep into its internals just to get things running reliably.

  4. First Time with Agentic Workflows This was my first time building anything agentic. Understanding how to structure memory, prompt context, and decision-making flows — while keeping it user-friendly — took serious trial and error.

  5. Balancing Power & Simplicity The hardest part was making something powerful feel easy. Every added feature had to be intuitive and frictionless — or it didn’t belong.
